Abhartach Records: "How did Urzirkel’s concept of a forgotten messianic cult first emerge?"

Urzirkel: "The idea grew from our fascination with Eastern European poets such as Juliusz Słowacki, whose *Król-Duch* (*The Spirit King*) follows an eternal spirit reincarnated through different historical rulers and figures. Drawing upon spiritual traditions and fragments of mythology surviving outside established history, we imagined a hidden cult whose beliefs echo through forgotten languages, dreams and sacred landscapes rather than written doctrine."

Abhartach Records: "How does *In Silbernen Sprachen* explore the relationship between heaven and earth across its four tracks?"

Urzirkel: "The EP follows a symbolic path between the earthly and the divine. Neither realm stands above the other; instead, they continuously reflect and transform one another. Each track represents a different reflection of this ongoing dialogue."

Abhartach Records: "What do you hope listeners experience through the EP, and what lies ahead for Urzirkel following the vinyl and CD release?"

Urzirkel: "We hope the music becomes a gateway through which listeners can enter their own inner visions and contemplations. We are currently writing material for Urzirkel’s debut full-length album"

⚔ URZIRKEL — NORTHERN GERMANY

Urzirkel is a three-piece black metal band serving as the vessel of a forgotten messianic movement, invoking sacred authority, prophetic revelation and primordial forces concealed beneath the world.

Tonight’s show opens with “Himmlischer Funke” from their forthcoming debut EP, In Silbernen Sprachen. The digital release arrives on 26 August 2026, followed by vinyl and CD editions through Vendetta Records on 9 October.
